Questions,
answered plainly.
Is QUADLUX an exchange?
No. QUADLUX is an independent interface for Lighter, a zero-knowledge perpetuals exchange on Ethereum. Lighter matches the orders and holds deposits in its Ethereum contracts. QUADLUX is not affiliated with Lighter.
Where does every number come from?
From Lighter's public REST API and WebSocket, called directly by your browser. Funding for Binance, Bybit and Hyperliquid comes from the same Lighter endpoint, which reports them side by side. Nothing on QUADLUX is a placeholder or an estimate dressed up as data. Where a figure is approximate, the page says so.
What are the four readings?
Depth: the dollars resting within 1% of the price on each side of the book. Funding: what one side pays the other every hour, on Lighter and three other exchanges. Liquidation: how far the price can move against a position at a given leverage before it is closed. Rules: the leverage cap, margin mode, maintenance margin and price source Lighter has set for that market.
Can I trade from QUADLUX today?
Not yet. Today the terminal reads markets and hands you to Lighter's own app to place the order. The next phase adds wallet connection and sends orders to Lighter through its Partner Attribution program. Any QUADLUX fee will be shown before you sign.
Are the liquidation numbers exact?
They are a close estimate for a single isolated position, using each market's published maintenance margin. Fees, funding already paid and other positions sharing cross margin all change the real number. The Portfolio page uses the liquidation price Lighter itself reports for each open position.
Why do stocks and gold trade on weekends?
Lighter keeps real-world asset perpetuals open around the clock while the underlying market is closed. The price can jump when the real market reopens, which is why QUADLUX flags it on every one of those markets.
What is a pre-IPO market?
A perpetual on a company that is not public yet, such as OpenAI or Anthropic. There is no public price to track, so Lighter sets it with an internal mechanism and no price cap. Treat these as the most experimental markets on the venue.
Is $QUADLUX live?
No. The contract will be posted on the QUADLUX site and on X first. Until then, any address claiming to be $QUADLUX is fake. The plan is for interface fees earned once trading opens to buy back $QUADLUX, with every transaction listed publicly.
Does QUADLUX see my wallet or keys?
No. The Portfolio page reads public account data for any address you paste, the same data anyone can read from Lighter's API. Nothing is connected and nothing is signed. When trading opens, signing happens in your own wallet.
